Yesterday afternoon I gave a talk to a group of amazing women called The Monday Club. This, what I would call "learning club," has been meeting for 123 years in Camden, Maine. Every year they pick a topic. This year's topic is Food, Wine and Culture. Hence my involvement. They then have subtopics on which every member does a fairly extensive research project and then presents every Monday to the group. Guest speakers are invited occasionally to add to the mix. I only hope I'm half as lively when I have the time to indulge in such pursuits!
