To dissolve into the corner and simply enjoy watching someone else's interpretation of their craft is such a pleasure. I had that opportunity this weekend when some friends and I took a class on Chinese Cooking taught by Michael Salmon, two time cookbook author and co-proprietor of the Hartstone Inn.
This photo was of my favorite dish – a soy and ginger marinated sea bass that was then pan fried and served with julienned veggies. My inspiration kicked in – I've been creating since I returned home – in my head and then all day in the kitchen yesterday.
